Apple and banana cake

Apple/banana cake

This recipe is the result of having an urge to bake a cake on a Sunday and all I had was the basic items, butter, flour, eggs plus  an old banana and two apples that needed to be used as soon as possible.

Ingredients:

-          200 g butter (melted and cooled down)

-          3 eggs

-          3 dl sugar

-          4 dl flour

-          1 ts vanilla sugar

-          1 ts baking powder

-          ½ ts baking soda

-          1 ripe banana - mashed

-          2 apples - grated

-          Line a 24 cm cake pan with baking paper, or lightly grease and flour.

-          Beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.

-          Add the rest of the ingredients.

-          Bake in a 180 degrees oven for about 40 – 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.

-          Let cool, sprinkle with powder sugar.
