Last week my husband, Alain and I took a little trip to France to visit my father. We used the opportunity to visit the city of Strasbourg that has a cathedral which once could boast of being the tallest building in the world (from 1647-1874).
A couple days would never be enough to see everything there is to see in this beautiful city with its classic Alsatian architecture.

Plaque honouring the American soldiers who helped to free Alsace. In France it is hard to forget the wars, crosses, cemeteries and monuments to the two great wars are everywhere. |
