Alpursa chocolate cross stitch patterns

    As a true collector of all things needlework, and a devout  chocolate fan , I let myself get tempted and bought some Alpursa chocolate cross stitch vignettes. I was not able to find much information about them, apart that the Swiss company Alpursa was founded in 1892 and later renamed itself Allgaeuer Alpine milk in 1931. A little search on the internet will confirm that they are rather rare, and quite collectable. They came in series and you could buy albums to put them in, much like the French Panini stickers that I collected as a child.
