Chocolate cake with lime cream cheese frosting.

While waiting at the dentist I picked up a household magazine and found an interesting recipe for a chocolate and lime cake, I took a pic. and decided to try it later.

I had to tweaked it a bit as some of the measurements seemed a bit out of proportions.

The result was a super easy, moist and delicious chocolate cake.

On the photo you can see I put 'leftover' sprinkles on it, but it was really not necessary and you can omit them if you want.
 




Easy chocolate cake, with lime cream cheese frosting
( 12 portions )

-          225 g flour
-          200 g sugar
-          1 teaspoon baking soda
-          ½ teaspoon salt
-          1 teaspoon baking powder
-          2 dl sour cream
-          2 eggs
-          2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
-          1 dl cacao powder
-          150 g butter
-          1 ½ dl water

-Melt butter with water. Let cool
-Mix all ingredients
-Line a 25 x 35 cm tray with baking paper, then bake in an 180 degrees oven for 35-40 mns.
-Let cake cool completely before icing.

Frosting

-          200 g cream cheese- room temperature
-          1 lime juice
-          5 tablespoons powder sugar
